On the 3th of March “Arvestagir” was at the Museum of History of Yerevan on the opening of the exhibition of an armenian photographer from Levan, Gabriel Panosyan called “Abstract photography”. Art historians Shaen Khachatryan, Saro Galents and Marina Stepanian had speeches on the exhibition. The RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan alsow was at the opening ceremony. The so-called abstract photo exhibit was interactive, as the visitors had the opportunity to give a name to their favorite photos. The photographer says that even an occasional shot can cause the association, and that’s why he doesn’t want to influence on audience with the names given by him. The photos are full of rich imagination and subtle observation. The only realistic photos that have been exposed, were the panoramas of Mount Ararat, which certainly could not find their place in the exhibition of an artist from armenian Diaspora. The exhibition will be open until March 5.
